Printing and storing data for packaging
Hello there. Kind of new to the bartender but I have a fairly serious question. Some of my friends recommended bartender for this case, but I cant really figure it out right now.
Brief description of what I am trying to accomplish :
My company is producing label rolls. We have scales that are combined with the bartender software. The idea goes like this:
- Label rolls are packed in a box and put on the scales
- Bartender has an open document that records : Date, Label Roll count (manually put), Name of the prouct(manually put), serializated barcodes, weight of the box (input from scales).
- Employee prints out label and pastes on the box.
- After the packing is finished, I would like to send the client information about everything what is inside the shipment (csv or excel file).
So my question is : Is there any way to save every label (including barcodes, weight and so on) in a list and after the production batch is finished, export out every label including each unique barcode, weight and so on (preferably excel, csv)
Thank you, Reinis

Depending on your BarTender version you maybe to do this via the Administer>Log setup and use the log to text file option, such as
If you have Automation or Enterprise edition you could even go further than this perhaps and configure Integratiion Builder to "trigger" when the log file is created and print a manifest label or say PDF list of the contents and perhaps even then email that automatically.
