Printing from database to pdf ( save each label to a new pdf ) Seguir

0

Hi there,

I have database running with bartender ( Bartender enterprise 2021 ) an excel connected to the layout.

I'd like to print each record to a new PDF file. With the name of a database field. Is this possible ? I included a screenshot in this post.

Thanks in Advance

Have you tried the settings accessed via the File Location button shown on the Print screen?

Hi Pete,

Yes I did, it saves the records in one big pdf. I want to automate so it saves every record but in a new pdf each time

I think you may need to carry out individual print requests for each record to achieve this.

You could use an Action command to help perhaps so that rather than printing the labels directly the Action (For each Database Record) prints the label or creates and populates a file than could trigger Integration Builder to print the label. Not tried all of this before but could be possible.

Did anyone get this to work?  If so, could you please publish the solution?

I need to do something similar - print labels to a Zebra label printer and then print to individual JPG files, each with a file name driven by a database field value.  How can that be done?
