    Hi Mike,

We appreciate you reaching us via our Forums.

    • When you say printing to PDF, are you using our native PDF printer or an external one, such as Microsoft Print to PDF?

Ours should be listed as "PDF":

    • Also, could you tell us what happens if instead of printing to PDF, you and your colleague export image to PDF? Same issue with this?

    • Finally, could you tell us a little bit more about your environment? Is your colleague using another workstation or printing from your machine? If so, any permission difference between the two users? Are you both users or are you an admin or the local user and he isn't?

    Thanks!

    Mike Stewart,

When your coworker prints make sure he selects the actual size selection on the print window. We have this issue all the time sometimes it defaults to fit, when it should be actual.

    Hi Xabier,

Thanks for your detailed thoughts on this.  Sorry for the delay in getting a response back to you.  We had the following results/comments to your points:

    1. Native "PDF" printer has been selected for these print attempts.
    2. Export to PDF works for a single image.  However, we are printing from a database connection and need 60-70 labels to be generated with each print.  We can't find how to "Export" more than 1 label at a time.
    3. We are both printing from our own separate PC's.  Our PC's are connected to a local area network that has shared drives.  On a shared drive, we keep the BarTender .btw label file as well as the database file being referenced.
    4.      Which permissions are of most interest?  Windows permission for our PC's?  Or permissions within BarTender?  As far as I know, our permissions should be similar for all instances, but I'm happy to verify.

    Hi Dee,

Thanks for your input too!  I can confirm that "Actual size" has been selected for these print attempts.  If anything else pops to mind, please don't hesitate to share.

    Thanks again!

    Mike

In an interesting update, this problem seems version specific.  We only use BarTender for 1 label file, so don't keep current, instead just using 2019 version.

I had success printing with 2019 r9 on my old computer.  My colleague (and now my new PC...) has the scaling issue with 2019 r10.  Were there new settings introduced in that version that could affect PDF scaling?

Hi, I also face this issue with Bartender 2019 R10. Is there any solution to this other than upgrading to Bartender 2022?

I am worried about the licensing issue if I upgrade to 2022. Please advise.
