Print Portal Rest API Request Payload?

Hi All,

Hope you are doing well.

While we are trying to send a request through Postman using BarTender REST API (/print), we are getting a response as to include few Data entry controls Ex: Print Request ID. But, its different for each template. So, is there any standard payload that we can send as request body and use to print something using this REST API.

Please let me know.

  Welcome to the BarTender Forums!
  
  Accessing the following URL from the workstation with the BarTender installation, you should be able to access the "Help" tab and check different examples of payloads.
  
  We would need more information on this, however, perhaps you might be using a method other than POST to send the print job command?
  
  
  
  As you can see in the table above, some of the methods do require an ID specification.
  
  Also, could you tell us what format (BTXML, JSON, YAML, etc) are you using for sending the request? A screen capture of this as well as of the response you get in Postman would be really helpful to us.

  Hi,

  Our company is an end-user of BT and we are interested in using the Print Portal REST API to send print requests, in JSON, through to a new on-prem BT 2022 setup.  Our current BT implementation partner is not familiar with this API and keeps directing us to use a custom API call, in the integration builder.  Where can I find more resources on this API and specifically an example of a JSON payload to send a print instruction to BT, specifying various field values to be mapped to the label fields?
