Citizen CL-S521
Hi,
I am having trouble getting a label printer working. The unit is actually a TSC DA210, however we have dozens of these set up in the business and they all show as Citizen CL-S521
Now I have tried using the driver for this from Seagull, the official one from Citizen and one from TSC. They all show the printer as installed fine, however if I try and print a test page it says "Test page failed to print" "The handle is invalid"
I initially encountered this issue last week on my previous laptop, when I first installed the printer here I had plugged it into the USB dock I use and after getting this error, I moved it directly to one of the USB ports on the laptop it appeared to start working.
I have since changed to a slightly different laptop (Dell 3420 from a 3400, both running Win 11) this time I plugged it directly into the laptop the first time I connected it, I have tried all the ports and going through the dock and I just can't get past this error message.
Strangely going back to the laptop that previously worked is now giving this error again.
I have tried completely deleting the printer and the drive from Print Management as well as from the "DriverWizard" application as well as multiple restarts.
Hopefully some one can advise a magic trick to get it working.
Thanks

Not sure but you may need to enable Citizen emulation on the printer to get it to work correctly
