Printer Argox OS-314 stoped printing
Hi,
I am Stash and have just experienced problem with my dutyfull printer I have used for years.
It is ARGOX OS-314 with parallel port which is connected with converting cable to USB port on PC with Windows 10. It is using vertual port USB001 created during the driver installation.
It worked fine until yesterday. No changes were made to my setup appart from some Windows updates which are automatic and some drivers updates done by my Avira virus protector. I am afraid I do not know details of any of the updates as they are done in the background.
I thought it could be an issue with the printer drivers so I deleted it and re-install new drivers I downloaded from bartender site. Used the same driver as before ie: Argox-OS314TT-PPLA driver Win10.
No change.
WHenever label is sent fro printing I can see it in the printer spooler where it flashes for a moment and dissapears indicating that the print has been sent but not received by the printer or ignored.
I have experienced similar issue when I moved BarTender from old to new PC as this is how BarTender protects its software to be copied, but this is not the case here.
I run out of ideas how to solve it. USB port i fine and has been used before for this printer. It works with anything else connected to it like memory stick.
Will appreciate somebody's help.
