Scanning Only Data Entry

Hello,

I am trying to create a label that will only accept entry from a scanner. Is this possible to do via bartender?

I have already limited the Character count and have limited the characters accepted in the serial number entry. But would like to also make the label to only accept a serial number via a scanner and not allow a user to type a serial number with a keyboard.

  I don not think you can achieve this simply and make BarTender accept a scanner only entry. You would need to use an scanner with a specific interface (serial port and not USB) and and then look to set something up via a serial port integration or use an Action from your Data Entry Form .
