Database Query Invalid Type for column with mac address
I'm trying to query a postgreSQL database where the device_mac column is set as mac:address type on the database. It looks like Bartender is treating it as text type which is fine but then I can't query the device_mac column when I enter the same text that I see in the record.

Not sure, but have you checked the Query Prompt>More Options to make sure there are no settings in there that could be contributing to this (ie character filters etc)?

Hi Peter,
I don't look to have any sort of character filter

Sorry not sure then, you could try adjusting the field type in the database as that could be the issue. I guess it could be set to Hexadecimal

Upon further inspection, it looks like Bartender does not know how to handle postgreSQL's special data types, which includes
macaddr
. Even when I try to link the device_mac column to a text field, it does not print the mac address. It ends up being an empty text field0
