Network Share On Ibm Iseries (ifs) S’abonner
I've got the following problem:
Recently we upgrade to Bartender 9.4 SR 4 Build 2781.
Commander is running as application on Windows 2008 R2 Server.
He's monitoring one folder hosted by Network share on IBM iSeries (IFS).
If there exist the file "druck.dat" then the Commander had to execute an Batch-File.
If I run the commander, I've got the following message "Datei gefunden".
For non-germans, it means "file found".
After that he do nothing.
I think, Commander is not able to delete the "druck.dat" file.
But I don't understand why.
I'm able to delete files on "cmd" and windows explorer.
On the local harddisk it works fine but not on the network share.
In the past, we used the Commander from the Bartender version 9.01 and it worked.
Does anybody have an idea ?
P.S.: I' sorry about my bad englisch. ;-)

ModérateurIs IBM iSeries (IFS) use AS400? If you are monitoring a non-Windows drive, please try to use "Polling" as the detection method. You mention you are running commander as an application? If you are running as a service, user permission and UNC path can be another factor.
I also attach commander trouble shooting guide for your reference.
Thanks!
I use the "Polling"-mode.
If Commander is running as a service, he can't find the path.
If Commander is running as application, he finds the path.
I read the commander trouble shooting guide, but there is no help.
Thanks!
The only change was the Bartender upgrade.
BT9.01 works.
BT 9.4SR3 have problems.
I've send an e-mail with the files to asiatech@seagullscientific.com.
Thanks.
It's a IBM problem named QDLS.
I changed the Network share from QDLS to the ROOT directory and it works !!!
It is not recommended to use QDLS these days, because it use the 8.3 file convention.
