Sql Database Connection Extremely Slow

Hi

 

I have several existing labels and also some newly created ones.  The problem that I am having is that when I try to create queries, or connect to the database to view queries the system "times out" and returns an "OLE DB error - IDispatch error #3121".

 

I am running BarTender Enterprise Automation 10.1 SR3, with Windows 7 Professional (x64) with SP1 installed, the database is an existing SQL Database. Does anyone know of any issues between these applications, and any fixes available? (I have tries running Bartender in various compatibility modes in BarTender properties.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Perhaps you should try using the client side cursor as a server side cursor can be slow in particular situations.  You'll find this under the "Options" tab of the "Database Setup" dialog.
