I have the same problem with BT 10.1 SR4. I totally reinstalled BT servers, windows, updated drivers more times, but it still happens. I hate this ENTERPRISE Software.

I suggest you use the Seagull DriverWizard to do a full removal of Seagull drivers, reboot, and then run the wizard again to reinstall the drivers with the latest version from scratch and thus a clean install. This should clear out any driver corruption that could be causing such crashes.

Are you running BarTender in some form of automated process be it Integration Platform or Commander?  If so I suggest you run the printer drivers in shared isolation mode.  In this way drivers run under a sub-process of the Windows spooler which will auto-respawn in the event of a crash.  In this way the spooler system itself won't be brought down by such a crash, and thus would not require an admin to intervene.

To enable this, open up Printer Management from the Administration Tools window of Windows.  Navigate to the drivers section of your print server, select those drivers that are used by BarTender for printing, right click and choose the "Set driver isolation>Shared" menu item.

Hello Ian! Thank you a lot! I activate driver isolation as you said. I hope it will help.

RikoNw: Good to hear.  You might like to know that the next driver release will have driver isolation enabled by default, in addition to a number of other changes and features.
