Hi,

I am an on-site tech and reseller of seagull products since a couples of years and I have a question regarding an installation I will make this friday.

Situation:

I will install a Bartender Enterprise automation,Datamax thermal printer and Rice Lake 920i scale.

The application my customer have is that they weight boxes of meat and press a soft key on the scale for a couple hundred boxes. When they are done with a pallet they will press a softkey on the scale that have serialized the total number of boxes and total weight on the same template.

My question is that my model is not listed in bartender and the third party company working on the scale gave me a string exemple but i'm not sure how to use it in bartender(i know how to add scales and everything but for custom strings i would need help)

- Send string: “Net” <SP> NET Box <SP> “kg” <LF> <CR>

Anybody can help ?

Does this model support either the "RiceLake TP" or the "RiceLake EDO commands" protocol? If affirmative, then create your weigh scale using BarTender's weigh scale control based on an existing Rice Lake protocol (see attachment).

and if not a Rice Lake compatible device what would we do.   I ended up wedging the date into fields but need a way to add the accumulated date,.   Has this been addressed in BT version 2019.
