Missing Spaces When Using Printer Downloaded Fonts
Hello everyone, we're having a problem when using printer downloaded fonts where the print out comes without the blank spaces no matter how many spaces I put between each word. We're using the Zebra drivers 7.3.3 and the printer is a 170 XiIII Plus. The template is attached. We've downloaded "@Arial Unicode MS" to the printer's compact memory. Suggestions are appreciated.

I take it that if you use a non-downloaded Windows font that the problem with missing spaces is gone?
How about if you download a smaller font (in terms of memory) to the printer and try printing with that, does that correctly maintain the spaces?
I have to say I'm not sure what might be wrong. Perhaps a factory default reset of the printer might help.

Thanks for the idea, we did a load default settings on the printer but still no spaces. We've also downloaded "Arial Narrow" and "Curier New" and texts assigned those don't even print anything on paper.

As Arial Unicode takes up a lot of space, you would probably need to delete that first before downloading anything else.

Ok, we finally found out that the problem was caused by using a compact flash for our Zebra printers with higher capacity than the maximum allowed. We were using 4GB when the maximum allowed was 1GB. This was causing the printer to do some crazy stuff like printing without spaces and other times not print at all and even restart the printer itself. Anyway, the User Guide didn't have the maximum compact flash capacity specified but after we figured it out we found elsewhere the spec: CompactFlash (up to 1 GB memory) for added label format/font storage. Thanks for the suggestions and we decided to post this in case it can help someone.
