Windows 8.1 Ans Tsc Ttp-244 Plus Printer
Hi all,
I've a serious problem when I try to print my labels with the printer flagged in the title
The problem was born whenI updated my OS to Windows 8.1
I downloaded the ultimate driver from your site (7.3.6), the printer is flagged as Ready but when I try to do any
lable using the BarTender Ultralite 10.0 SR1 Build 2846 nothing happens.
No error messages no print nothing
Have you any idea?
I'm completely blocking in my activity

Factory reset the printer following printer's manual, remove printer driver and install printer again using DriverWizard (C:\Seagull\DriverWizard).
If driverwizard is not found, download the latest driver (7.3.7) and run.

Try..
Connect the printer to other PC to check if that's printer's problem or not.
Print from other application (notepad etc) to check if that's about BarTender or not.

Hello.
I have the same problem in my LAN.
I have a TOSHIBA TEC B-EV4-G configured with IP 192.168.1.200, 255.255.255.0 and port 9100 with SettingTool_v017,
and configured in two PCS in Windows with port 9100 RAW.
In the first one with Windows 7 and the driver 7.3.8, the printer appears ready and prints perfect with BarTender.
In the second one, with Windows 8.1 Pro and the same driver, the printer appears ready, but does not print any at all.
I have never got the printer to work in lan configuration. With usb connection, the printers does work.
But i need to have the printer connected to the router with ethernet cable.
I have tried to disable the firewall and it does not work.
Please, ¿any solution?

Disable status monitor for both PC, from Printer properties > Tools > Status monitoring.
(Status monitoring not working from multiple PCs simultaneously)
I recon the setting tool has ability to connect via LAN too - so if you cannot communicate with printer using the setting tool, that's not about driver.Try Ping to the printer to see any network issue.When above seems to work, try re-install driver.0 -
i will do the first recomendation,
i can perfectly connect with the printer via LAN, and doing ping is correct.
i will tell you about the first issue, but i can tell you before i try, that with only the Windows 8.1 PC on (the second one with Windows 7 off),
the printer does not work.

The button of status monitoring is in gray color, both in Windows 8.1 pro PC and in Windows 7 PC.
i can´t pick in it, so i think the status monitoring is disabled.
i have reinstalled the last driver 7.3.8
i have pinged the printer and it is ok.
i can Access the printer via Setting Tools.
When i try to print a test page via printer properties, it does not print anything.
And also when i print with Bartender Basic, it does not print.
In both cases, the printer led remain in Green, and the job keeps in the spoiler, giving an error message.
Please, give me a solution.

Make sure you specify correct port number - as TEC printer often configred as 8000 as default.
Alternatively you can try connect to the printer standard TCP/IP Port with LPR (not RAW 9100).
To connect via LPR, create a new Standard TCP/IP Port, specify the IP address of printer, select LPR and enter any text in Queue name (ex. "ev4").

After test with LPR like Shotaro san mentioned, if it´s not working you can contact with a TOSHIBA distributor to request suppor from its side

Shotaro, problem solved using port n. 8000 and raw, both in printer and Windows port configuration.
In this case (not in the case of port n. 9100), Windows 8.1 prints perfectly by now.

Connect your printer to pc and update your OS or manulay update printer dirver form (devmgmt.msc)
