Any Way To Batch Edit Bartender Files S’abonner

0

Hi,

We have recently upgraded to version 10 from a very old version and while for the most part this has gone smoothly, the biggest issue is that the new software did not read our old .eps graphic files the way the old version did - in fact, it did not read it at all.

I spoke with bartender support who confirmed this was an issue and they had no solution. Our fault for not upgrading regularly I guess.

We eventually decided to convert all our eps files to psd files and that worked as far as bartender being able to read them but it means that we have to open and edit every label file and change the name to the extension on the external graphic file from eps to psd. With 1000's of labels looming ahead of us this is a daunting task.

Is there any way to batch edit the files such as you might with a text file that you could search all btw files for the string .eps and change it to .psd.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately not. Since the image connection is established in the label, you'd have to manually update each label separately. There's no external control to change the image, so there's nothing that you can use to change multiple ones at once.
