Printing Darkness

I want to make the print the label darker. I used to able to go to Print - Document Settings - Option and set the speed and darkness. All of a sudden those two fields are grayed out and cannot change it. is there a reason it happened. Also how do I fix it.
The only thing I did to label is change the label size from 4.25 * 1.25 to 4 * 1.25.

Uncheck the box that says "Use Current Printer Settings" 0
