Pictures Stop Displaying When Reopening Label S’abonner

I have my bartender label set to read from a database and display a picture whose path is stored in the database. The image displays correctly when the database is first connected, however if I exit bartender and reopen the label, I receive an error message that the .jpg file is not found. If I delete the connection to the database and reconnect, the pictures display correctly again.(I have tried with access db and excel spreadsheet connections and have the same issue). For me this is a minor annoyance, however before deploying the label, I cannot have users delete and readd the database connection everytime and also this prevents me from using a query as I have to reenter it each time I add the database. Any suggestions or insight into why this occurs (bartender 7.75 enterprise edition)

In that version of BarTender, there is no direct link to the database from the display. All you will see is the "Sample Data" you put in.

If you do a print preview the images should show up (and therefore would show on a normal print). If not, then yes, there is some other issue going on.

Correct, when I print preview or print though the pictures are missing unless I reset the database connection each time by deleting and reconfiguring database connection. Then the pictures display in print preview and during the print.

Hi ahunter488,

The same thing not happens on BarTender 8.01 at least. Check Picture's [Default path] is specified properly.
If database field value is "picture.jpg" and the folder contains images are "c:\images",
default path would be "c:\images\"
If you don't specify default path, the same folder as btw file is used.
Also check the error message shows proper path to the picture or not.

Besides, please try on the latest BarTender's trial edition. If that works fine on later version,
As BarTender 7.75's technical support period has been finished on 1st November 2011, that's a good chance to step up to the latest version.

Hope that helps.
