Named Data Fields Won’T Print S’abonner
Here is my issue. I took over an IT department with a warehouse management software that utilizes BarTender Label Software. It has worked great for a couple of years. We upgraded our warehouse software and had to upgrade BarTender to version 10.0 (we were on 7.5). We get labels from our software vendor so I’m not making these up from scratch. The problem is the new labels have a bunch of fields with ‘embedded data’ in them. They are using Named Data Sources in the embedded data that don’t connect to anything. The default data that is entered is the only thing that prints on the label. If I delete the default data, nothing prints. When I look at my old labels the same fields have ‘Screen Data’ that comes from input entered within the warehouse management software. I can’t seem to get the ‘embedded data’ to do the same thing. There doesn’t seem to be a way to configure the ‘named data sources’ that relate to the embedded data fields. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.

ModérateurIt sounds like you need to specify a "Name" for your data source to co-inside with the "Share-Name" for a sub-string in the old version. Giving the data source a Name makes it visible for having its value read or written by an external controlling application.
