Tall Man Lettering S’abonner

Does anyone know if bartender can do anything with Tall Man lettering? This is common in the drug industry, whereby the first few letters in a word are capitalized and the rest is lower-case lettering. The database I'm working with, the software is storing everything in all data fields in capital letters. Just wondering if Bartender can handle this request or functionality.

Here are examples of what I'm talking about.

Is it the case that the number of capitalized letters for each item can vary depending of the name of the item, or is it always a fixed number of characters like always the first three letters. Please confirm.

How many of such items are there in the database?

Basically, yes this can be done, but which approach to take depends on the answers to the above.

There is some standards, but it's a bit confusing to me when I read this document.

www.ismp.org/tools/tallmanletters (add a .pdf to the end of this link; forum won't permit the full link to be displayed)

I have a list of all the drugs that require this tall man lettering from my client. That standard mentioned in the above PDF is confusing; but I'm currently thinking that the best way to do this is to have a/the script search for these particular drug names and then perform a REPLACE to replace the entire word with the correct tall man lettering. What do you think?

Certainly a Search/Replace action in the transforms will do the job for you. This would be workable so long as there aren't too many drug names that need to be formatted. An alternative would use an OnProcessData VB script to open a text file that contains all drugs with their corresponding tall man lettering alternatives, and perform a search and replace in that way.
