Header Label And Normal Labels S’abonner

Hi,

I am trying to design a label that has a header and regular label.

For example, I want to print 5 labels. When I enter it to print 5 labels, I want only one header label to print and 5 regular labels. The header label will be designed differently.

Right now, when I print 5 labels, I get 5 header labels and 5 regular labels. I just want 1 header label and 5 regular labels

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

BarTender 10.0 or later have Start of Job template - which works as header label.

In Page setup > Template tab, add (or move to) a template in [Start of Job Template(s)].

I see that there is also an End of Job template.  I'm interested in using a trigger file in Commander to print the job.  How would I set up the data in the trigger file?  I'll need a couple of pieces of variable data for the header and trailer, and different data on the detail labels.

Hi ValerieA, when you use database data for trigger and want to use that in header and trailer, you need to have those data in each records. (I know this sounds redundant - but that's the way)

Another option is use XML Script (Enterprise Automation Edition required) - send header / trailer data via named datasource and send record data via recordset.

For XML script, this topic might helps..
