Missing Fonts In Word Processor S’abonner

Hi!

When designing a label in BarTender, I need to make certain words bold and/or italic in a textbox. I have therefore used the word processor textbox to make this possible. However when editing the text inside the word processor the fonts list is different from the one in the main text editing window. So, simply put, I can create an ordinary multiple row textbox with any desired font but when creating a word processor text box I can't choose the same desired font. Anyone know anything about this problem and how to get around it?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you very much for your post.

Is it possible that the missing fonts are Printer Fonts? Please note that Microsoft Word only uses True Type Fonts. This is a Word Limitation and unfortunately there is nothing that we can do from BarTender.

Thanks,

Carlos

Hi,

thanks, yes I do understand that the problem is not within BarTender. It is probably an issue depending on windows version or some other Word or font compatibility/limitation. I was just wondering if anyone hade encountered it before and found a way around it.

Hello Bertil,

I'm sorry but I'm afraid that there is nothing that you can do in order to use Printer Fonts, as Ms Word has some features that cannot be supported by the printer fonts. The text should be printed as a graphic, so it only can use True Type Fonts.

Thanks,

Hello Carlos,

I have the same problem as Bertil. Our corporate design makes use of otf-fonts. I wanted to use a word processor object and could not choose "our" font. However, MS Word (2013) DOES allow me to use the desired otf-font. So the problem may well be within BarTender.

I am using Version 10.1 SR4. Does BarTender 2016 support oft-fonts in word processor objects?

Thanks,
