    Hi Alon,
If you mean to use "Rewinder" as external attachment for a printer, some label printer support that option and so does our printer driver.
In BarTender > Print > Document properties > Stock tab > Feed mode, you may find "Rewind" option.
(if your printer doesn't use Seagull driver, try to find appropriate setting.)

There is an external attachment available for some printers that lets you wind your printed labels back onto an external "take up" spool. This way, you can output large print jobs without their simply spilling out onto the floor.

This feature may be useful even when the external rewind attachment is not in use because using this setting turns off the brief "back feed" motion that otherwise occurs between labels.

If you need to backfeed (wind label back a bit) before print, you may found something like "backfeed" or "Top adjustment" in Document property's Stock tab.

    Hi,

Can you explain in more details the following parameters:
    feed mode->backfeed options
    feed options->set top adjustment
feed options-> set rest posiotion adjustment

does the feed options are available while i am working with no-backfeed?

    regards,
    Alon

It looks [set top adjustment] and [set rest posiotion adjustment] sending adjust command to printer even backfeed option is set to [no backfeed]. Since I don't have that printer model here, please check actual behavior with the printer. Driver online help might give you some direction if you haven't read it - I copied as below.
    [quote][b]Stock Property Page[/b]
The Stock Setup dialog allows you to set the stock specifications for the stock you are using. The settings are described below. For additional information, click on the desired setting or see the appropriate section in your printer manual.

    [b]Media Settings[/b]
    [list]
[*][i]Print Method.[/i] Specifies whether a ribbon is being used to print labels.
[*][i]Media Type.[/i] Specifies the type of media used to print.
    [/list]

    [b]Feed Mode [/b]
    [list]
[*][i]Mode.[/i] Specifies if the printer should take any action after printing each label such as cutting or rewinding.
[*][i]Pause.[/i] Used to put the printer in pause mode. After Every Page will pause after each page. After Job will pause at the end of each print job. After Specified Interval will pause after the specified number of pages have printed, and also at the end of the print job. After Identical Copies uses the number of copies specified in the application as the pause interval.
[*][i]Cut.[/i] When the printer is in cut mode, this control selects the frequency of cutting. After Every Page will cut after each page. After Job will cut at the end of each print job. After Specified Interval will cut after the specified number of pages have printed, and also at the end of the print job. After Identical Copies uses the number of copies specified in the application as the cut interval.
[*][i]Pause After Cut. [/i] When the printer is in cut mode, specifies that the printer should also pause after cutting a label.
[*][i]Interval.[/i] When cutting or pausing After Specified Interval, this setting specifies how many labels should print between each cut or pause.
[*][i]Backfeed.[/i] Specifies whether the printer should backfeed before or after each label prints, or not backfeed at all. Some printers also allow specifying a backfeed length.
[*][i]Backfeed Percentage.[/i] Specifies the length of the backfeed as a percentage of the label length.
    [/list]

    [b]Feed Options [/b]
    [list]
[*][i]Set Top Adjustment.[/i] Specifies the length of label that will be fed out or pulled back into the printer before printing a label. This will offset the printed image vertically on the label. This setting is only changed if the checkbox is checked.
[*][i]Set Tear-Off Adjustment.[/i] Specifies the length of label that will be fed out or pulled back into the printer after printing a label. This adjusts where the label will stop. This setting is only changed if the checkbox is checked.

    thanks for your response,

can i assume that "Set Tear-Off Adjustment" is equal to "set rest posiotion adjustment"? why there is a limitation to -10.2 and 10.2?
in addition do you know what the parameter "transponder position" is meaning, and why it is limited to positive values?

Yes, I assume that way - "set rest posiotion adjustment" would work as tear-off adjustment. The limitation most likely the hardware (or firmware) limitation of the printer.
"Transponder position" in RFID option usually means the printer have option to adjust RFID tag writing position vertically and the printer would only have positive value adjustment. This is one setting you would try when you have RFID write error or unstable RFID writing,
If you're printing on plain label and not writing data to [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-frequency_identification"]RFID[/url] tag, please ignore the setting.

I see - yes, "Transponder position" might be one place you can adjust in such situation.
Please check Zebra resources to find appropriate setting, and whether the printer is able to write the tag or not.
