Overriding Date Setting At Print Time

On our labels we print the date of manufacture for the product, which is by default the day of printing. I need to be able to manually override this at print to either back-date or forward-date it. Can you please advise the settings that need to be changed to enable this?

  Hi Gemma,
  Enable data entry (User prompt.) so it asks you to override text at print time.
  You can create a data entry control for the datasource, from datasource > Transform tab > Data Entry control property.
  For modify design of data entry form, open Data entry form tab at the bottom of window.
  
  In BarTender 9.4 or older, You can add user prompt from Text's Datasource tab > More options > Prompt.

  Which version of BarTender do you use? you can find that from Help > About.
