Two Recurring Printing Errors S’abonner
Really hoping for some help resolving an ongoing issue we have been experiencing. We use the following setup:
Bartender 10.1 SR4, Build 2961, Edition: Automation
Bartender Driver 7.3.7
Used with a Zebra 110XiIII Plus printer, which has the most current firmware available for it, (V60.17.15Z).
Computer is a Dell Optiplex 7010 using:
Windows 7 Enterprise, Version 6.1.7601, Build 7601, Service Pack 1
The labels we print out have static text fields containing job name data that is identical on every label, and then a ECC200 square barcode object which contains that job name data in addition to a serialized piece count number, (1001, 1002, etc). The serialized number only appears as part of the barcode. These labels are created as a batch of 999 labels, and printed one at a time using the Pause button on the printer. There are two recurring problems we have been experiencing while printing labels on four different stations, (all separate set-ups, not networked together).
The problems are:
1) The serialization data will randomly reset to a previously used number. Ex: 1128, 1129, 1074, 1075, etc. There is no set pattern as to when this happens. Printing does not stop when this happens.
2) The printing of the job will just completely stop, as though the final label had been reached, even though there are still hundreds of labels left to print. When this happens the only way we can get it going again is to cancel the job and start over, which has been costing us a lot of time, as this sometimes happens 20 times a day. Even more unusual, this will happen on one station, and then within two minutes, happen at the other partner station - but they are not networked together or communicating in any way. Sometimes they will both be referencing the same label template stored on the network, but that is it.
