PX45 203 dpi Seagull Driver fails to print jobs with Arial Rounded MT Bold font
Hello,
I have tried multiple ways to print jobs with the Arial Rounded MT Bold font in Windows 11 with Bartender and the printouts fail to print whatsoever.
I replace the print with Arial Black, it prints out without an issue.
I return to Arial Rounded MT Bold, nothing happens.
This is with the 2024.1 print driver.
I have an old version of Brother P-Touch 5.4 labeling software and tried that with both the Seagull print driver and another different print driver from another vendor (both Direct Protocol) and the other vendor's driver was able to print all my failed fonts while the Seagull print driver failed once again.
Can someone at Seagull confirm that the Arial Rounded MT Bold font works with Bartender? On what version of Bartender and which printer driver as well.
Additionally, how can I change the printer driver from Direct Protocol to ZPL, IPL and PDF protocol modes with the Seagull driver?

Ok, I reinstalled Bartender with the latest 2022 R8 with the 2024.1 Print Driver and can confirm this has resolved my issue.
Therefore, it is now working using the latest version.0 -
Ok, after further time, and windows updates, the same issue reappeared. We can no longer print any labels when using Arial Rounded MT Bold font is used within Bartender 2022 R8 installed.
Any fix for this available?0 -
Not sure, my machine has all the latest Windows updates and prints with that font without issue.
