BarTender Designer 2022 R8 - Multiple Templates Issue / Questions
Hello, I am quite curious on why this doesn't work
I have been working with my BarTender Designer R8 2022 template for some time now.
So if there is 2 or more recorded items when printing and has either: KIT, RP, 66001, ZONE or LC it will print the mixed load label.
If there is only 1 recorded item being printed and has either KIT, RP, 66001, ZONE or LC it will NOT print the mixed load.
Below is how I have it setup. Which makes a lot of sense to me. However when I print it will never print
I have it as And because I want both O34MixedLoad, numOfPrintedItems to be present during the printing process.
If I have it as Or it will always print the mixed load label even if there is only 1 recorded item.
The 2 in the middle of the template above is the:
Data Source: numOfRecordsPrinted
Type: Print Job Field
Field: Total Number of Records
So if that is 2 there 100% should be a mixed load. Why?
Please let me know what I can do to fix this. I do NOT want to manual input data for this to work as I know how to do that. I would like this to be automatic without having to enter in any data.

I think it is because this data you are trying to reference is not present at this time. Move the template to be a Primary Template (not Group as number of labels etc are ignored at this point) and see if that sorts it

Thanks Peter,
However if I do this it will make a mixed load for every master that is printed. I only need 1 mixed load total. If I have 4 masters labels I will have 4 mixed load labels.
If I have 4 masters same shop code, I will need only need 1 mixed load.0 -
Add a Named counter/serialised field to the side of you Master label linked to the Number of Labels quantity then for your Mixed template add an extra condition to Print When the Named Counter equals zero
