My printer stop during printing.
Hi.
I'm S/W developer and I wrote label printing program using print driver and winspool. It print 1-2000 pages label with seq no.
It works fine with xps driver or pdf driver( print to files)
But label printer some times stop during printing. My print queue's status is printing. But printer is not work until reset printer. I have 3 printer(zebra zt-410, citizen s700, tec ex4t) and it connected by usb. So, I try print xps file using windows xps file viewer. Xps file have 1000 label.at first time it works. But next 1000 page, stop printer. It occur all printer i have.
My OS windows 7 x64 and 10 x64.
How can avoid this problem?

Not sure but I assume you are sending the files through as graphics and not using the printers in built programming language to handle the labels. As each label has a sequential number they will therefore be a unique image and so will be being sent is a separate file to the printer and so you maybe filling up the USB memory buffer and causing the unit to lock

How can I check usb memory buffer? or clear usb memory buffer?

Sorry no idea how you can check it and the only way I am aware to force to clear it is by resetting it (powering it down and up again).
I could be wrong with what the cause is of the locking but I have seen something similar previously with other types of printer ports.
Is there anyway you could batch your print requests and send them down in smaller sizes files over a period of time if you cant send them down to the printers in their own native language?

I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH THE TRIAL SO LETS START FROM SCATCH WITH A NEW TRIAL AND THET MAY SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
