1 of 80 2 of 80 etc S’abonner

Rakesh Awasthi

I am creating a label design in Bartender. Let's say I need to ship 20 boxes for one person. I would like the label to also have 1 of 20, 2 of 20, 3 of 20 etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

  • Add a text field onto your label and via the Transforms button set this field to serialise and then on the Reset tab set the count to reset every job
  • Next click on the button in the bottom left hand corner of the Text Properties screen (ringed above) and add a new sub-sting setting the type to embedded data.
  • Adjust the value of this field to   "  of  " making sure to add a space either side of the word.
  • As above again click on the New Data Source button and add another Embedded Data Field and give it a dummy value of 99
  • Next click on the Change Data Source Name button and give this part of a field - I called mine NumLabs, click Okay and so you should have something like this
  • Click close to come out of the text field and click on the Form1 button
  • From the Data Entry Control drop down choose and add a text input field on to the form.
  • Double click on the entry box and from the Text Label option type in a prompt question for the user, such as Number of Labels and then choose the Linked Data Source option and choose the name you set above.
  • You may also want to clcik on the Data Entry option and set the Value to 1
  • Clcik Close and then go to the File > Print option and press the button to the right of the Serial Numbers entry field
  • From the options on the right choose the Set by Data Source (not shown in image below) and then click on the Data Source on the left and link this field to the name you set above via the Change Data Source Name option.

Hopefully that should get you up and running
