UPS Saver PDF417 Barcode S’abonner

I am attempting to print a PDF417 barcode on a UPS shipping label.  My question is, is there a way to set the height so it's always the same?  According to the UPS PDF417 guide, it says it must be 12 columns wide and the X dimension should be set to 10 mil.  It also says the bar height should be three times the width of the narrow element (X dimension).

When I set the row height to 3x, it makes the barcode too tall for the space.  If I set it to 2x I can fit it and can scan it with an app I have but didn't know if UPS will accept that.

Just wondered if there are any other Bartender users out there that have already dealt with this.

Aren't the UPS labels supposed to be 4 x 6 inch (approx 100 x 150mm)? In which case there should be no problem fitting a 10mil/12 column/3x PDF417 symbol on it

Well, the UPS guide shows the option of printing everything on 1 label, all the shipment info plus the pdf417 barcode.  We decided to just scrap the idea of trying to fit it all on 1 label and went to the 2 label setup.

The next question though is that the PDF417 is limited to 1300 characters.  The guide says to use multiple Macro PDF417 barcodes, which can hold 900 chars, if you have more than 1300 chars.  The guide doesn't show any examples of this or have any more information.  Is anyone using macro pdf417's?
