Bartender System Service Error: The Bartender System Service failed an attempt to insert unique Information

    Hello Mike,

    Thank you for reaching us via the BarTender Community Forums!

    Please open the BarTender Administration Console and navigate to the System Database tab; can you see if the System Database's Status is showing as connected?

    If the System Database is not set up, please open BarTender Administration Console and try the following:

    • Click on System Database
    • Click on "System Database Wizard" in the banner
    • Click Next
    • Click "customize settings"
    • Enter the credentials on the next screen. If you used the default settings, choose Windows Authentication.
    • Select "Create a new system database"
    • Enter the name of the database. DataStore is the default.
    • Follow the dialog until you receive a confirmation screen

    See if this would help to resolve the errors shown in Event Viewer. 
    On a side note, if you are unable to open the BarTender Designer application, it may be the BarTender installation is corrupted or not installed properly. If this is the case, I would recommend performing a clean uninstall of BarTender (see attached document for steps on this), then installing BarTender again when logged on to the computer with an administrator account.
