SQL Server Express generating huge 100GB+ log file - how do I turn of logging?
We are running Bartender Designer 2019 Pro version 11.0.3.3094. We use it as a stand alone workstation installation running a single printer with nothing shared.
The computer it is running on is running out of space due to a huge SQL Server Express log file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL 12.BARTENDER\MSSQL\DATA\Datastore_Bartender_log.ldf = 147GB
How do I turn off this logging? How do I turn off Bartender logging as well?

Similar issue found here. Running Bartender Designer 2019 and just upgraded to 2022 R2. Our Datastore_BarTender_log.ldf file is 54 GB large. How can I shrink or remove it?

It is relatively easy to shrink the DB log file using the following guide https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertutorial/3311/how-to-shrink-the-transaction-log/ I would suggest managing your change, backup and choose a non-production time to make changes, etc. Just in case
