Installation fails / Wizard interrupted before it could complete
I'm trying to help a client get back up and running after a ransomware attack. We've had to format all of their workstations, and are attempting to reinstall Bartender 2016. They initially attempted to install from an original Bartender CD, but got a fatal error during the install. I've since downloaded the latest version of 2016 and after getting through all the prompts, the progress bar seems to go to 100% and I get the message that the wizard was interrupted before it could complete, then it quits.
It does still detect the version they attempted to install, and says it will be attempt an upgrade. I see no bartender services on the computer. I've manually deleted any files I can find related to "bartender" or "seagull". I've also deleted most of the registry keys with the same search criteria. This was after following the directions for manual removal (I did that first, then attempted to find any additional keys/files that might be out there).
It does still show Bartender in the add/remove programs, if I attempt to remove it fails at the deactivate license section.
Is there anything else we can try to get this thing going?

If you are having issues uninstalling BarTender 2016 from your system, we would recommend downloading and using the "Program Install and Uninstall Trouble Shooter" tool from Microsoft to uninstall BarTender.

Is there a solution to this issue?
I cannot install Bartender 10.0. After the configuring the installation step, the installation stops at this dialog screen:
I downloaded Microsoft "Program Install and Uninstall Trouble Shooter" tool and it did not detect this application. I scanned all services and drive and did not see the application was installed. The computer is Windows 11 OS.
Please assist.

BarTender 10.0 has been out of support since 2018 and is not compatible with Windows 11. Windows 8 would be required for this as long as you are installing the last release of BarTender 10.0.
