Multiple databases creating fields depending on source
Using Bartender 2019 R6
Hi,
When I'm joining two databases together it adds more label entries depending on how many GRNs we have.
So, I want to print all the labels in accordance to my first database, and I want to link the SKU with a QR database from another. But as soon as I link the two it multiplies the quantity labels with as many GRNs we have from database 2. hope that makes sense.
For example the table below the first column there should only be one entry per number 1,2,3,4 etc, NOT 1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,
How it should propagate:

thanks.

I no longer have access to 2016 but I believe there is a tick box in the Database Connection Setup screens (not the option on the File>Print screen) to get the system to select just the first unique record that matches the query/filter requirements and it sounds like you may need to enable that

Hi Pete, thank you for the response.
I'm using Bartender 2019 and I cannot seem to find such an option anywhere?
I have done some more research but many suggests a similar/same solution for such a tick box under the options tab in database connection setup. The below image is the only option I can see? can anyone shed some light on this, thanks.

I seem to think the option was in the "ODBC" rather than "BarTender" part of the database link, ie the screens accessed via here:
