How To Stop And Start Detection For An Individual Task
Hi,
Sometime one of the task in commander shows status as CONNECTION instead of Listening,
which couses the updation failure in pXSmartAgent database.
To take care of the above situation we normally stop and start detection,.
Wanted to ask is der any way to stop detection only task whcih is in Connection status, from
command line. or to know the status of task from command line ?

I suppose this is in relation to a TCP/IP network trigger?
What is the version and build of BarTender in use?
Which version of Windows is it running on?0 -

Yes, it is in relation to TCP/IP trigger.
Bartender Build is : 9.4
Windows version : Windows server 2003 Standard X64.0 -
I don't think there is a command line to do this for Commander.
Make sure you are running the latest (SR3) service release for the v9.40 BarTender version: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/fixes_94.aspx
Have you tried just unticking the checkbox for the affected task in order to temporarily deactivate it?
