Serialization Per Print Job フォローする

We box several of the same product in multiple boxes to be shipped out. When we print labels for these boxes the information on the labels is the same except for a single field which is the box number. For example, if a customer orders enough that we need to ship five boxes worth of this particular item to them then we need to print five copies of the label that are exactly the same except they will say "Box #: 1", "Box #: 2", "Box #: 3", etc.

What is the simplest way for me to allow the user to designate a number of labels to be printed and have that number be broken down per label?

Hi Jason,
If you don't want to update serialized value after print,
in Datasource > Transform(More options) > Serialization,
uncheck [Update data source after print].

Is it possible to designate what number to start the serialization at when you print it? Sometimes they print boxes 1-6 at the start of the day, but then find they need more, so is it possible to print 3 copies that are Box 7, 8 & 9?

You can set data entry to the serialized text, to specify start value at print time.
Go to Data Entry Form view from at the bottom, create a text input by drag out [Text Input Box] from Control toolbox at left,
then specify data source of the serialized text.

When data entry form is enabled, the form shown at print time.

In BarTender 9.4 or older, You can add Edit box from Datasource tab > more options > Prompt tab,
then modify form design from "Prompt Design" tab at the bottom.
