Bartender Error Message 3700 フォローする

We use Bartender with Syteline ERP system to create labels for product and orders automatically. When I am running one of our programs I print lot labels and conduit lot labels. They are the same label as far as page setup goes, however when printing the Conduit lot labels I get a message 3700. What causes this and how do I fix it?

The error message you're getting means that there is something wrong with the printer driver selected (such as a bad driver installation or the fact that the printer driver cannot communicate anymore with the printer

via the status monitor due to the printer being offline or suffering from comm. issues) which means that BarTender cannot use it.

 

How exactly is your ERP system automating BarTender? Via our middleware software Commander? Via our .NET SDKs? Is BarTender being run under a service context?

 

When you design your BarTender documents, what printer do you specify via the "File > Print" dialog, the specific name of the printer or the Windows Default Printer?

 

At print time, do you print to the same printer which you've defined at design time, or do you switch and use a different printer?

 

Do you get this error message no matter to which printer make and model you print to? If you get this problem with particular printers, let us know the make and model of these printers, also the printer driver (and version) installed for these printers and if the printer driver is locally installed on the computer where BarTender is running...

The labels are created locally and our ERP system calls the label file from a folder and prints it. Each label is created manually for the initial setup.

 

I think Ive ruled out the driver issue as I have removed it and reinstalled it several times. I believe it may be an issue with the printer settings vs label settings. The stock we are printing on is 4"x4" printable area and has 1/16" on left and right side or unprintable area. Its continuous media and direct print instead of thermal transfer.

 

When designing the labels the Engineers create them and they use a different printer. However, the printer that the label was created with and the local printer we are printing to are nearly identical. We use the Zebra GX420D or the 2844Z-TLP printers.

 

When printing to the local GX420D we have no issues printing our lot labels, just our conduit labels generate the 3700 error message.

When you open one of the "conduit" labels and print directly from BarTender to the desired printer, do you have the same problem?

 

As you seem to get this problem with particular printers, let us know the make and model of these printers (is it the TLP 2844-Z you're having problems with?), also the printer driver (and version) installed for these printers and if the printer driver is locally installed on the computer where BarTender is running.

 

If possible, attach one of these "conduit" BarTender documents (.btw) for me to examine.
