Printing Special Characters

How are you passing the data to BarTender, via a database connection perhaps? If yes, make sure that the proper encoding is being selected.
Furthermore, what Edition, version and build of BT do you have? What printer driver (and version) have you installed for the Zebra printer?
As the font to be used, have you tried with Windows fonts (True Type e.g.) without having the font substitution checkbox enabled?

Well, I'm experiencing the same issue. Any ideas how to solve?

Can you confirm that you have selected the proper encoding in the Database connection?
What Edition, version and build of BarTender do you have? (You can check it clicking on BarTender "Help" menu > "About" item)
Are you using True Type fonts or printer fonts?
In your Commander Task > "Trigger" tab can you let me know which "File Encoding" have you selected?
