Printing Error 1726 And Resetting Commander Service
At a customers site they receive every few days two kind of printer errors.
This is logged end viewed in the Printer History.
They have version BT94_SR3_2781 and are registered users.
The problem can be resolved temporarily by stopping ans starting the service in programm Commander
The messages are in dutch so I how you can understand what's it about.
Can anyone tell me if these error messages are a known issue, and how this can be resolved.
BarTender kan geen gebruik maken van printer '\\server\share' voor het
ontwerpen, afdrukken of exporteren van een sjabloon omwille van een
installatieprobleem met de printer.
Er werd een Windows foutcode weergegeven: 1726
Foutbericht: The remote procedure call failed.
The second eror is about:
BarTender
kan geen gebruik maken van printer '\\server\share' voor het
ontwerpen, afdrukken of exporteren van een sjabloon omwille van een

Er werd een Windows foutcode weergegeven: 122
Foutbericht: The data area passed to a system call is too small.

It look like BarTender is having problems sending the print job to the printer "\\server\share".
1. Could you let me know how exactly is that printer installed on your system? Is it installed through a shared driver or as a locally installed driver with a local port pointing to that UNC path?
2. Are you able to print to that printer with BarTender directly?
3. Could you let me know if working with Commander as an application it prints properly?
4. Also, what type of user account is the Commander service running under (you'll need to access the Windows' services dialog by typing "services.msc" in the Windows search box, and enter the Commander service properties dialog).
