Printer Assignment Rights

Hello,

 

I have specified the printer I wish to print to within my label document.  I have also specified it in the commander task which launches the printing task.

If these two settings do not match which gets the priority?...

 

The label set up to use printer A

 

or

 

Commander set up to print the label on printer B

  I'm curious to hear the answer from an Admin ... but I bet it is commander.  To me commander is acting out manual commands like when you open up a label in printstation or bartender ... you are able to change the printer at print time.  Essentially that is what commander is doing (at least that is how it works in my head).

  What's set in the document is the default, if you choose a different printer in Commander then this overwrites the default as it's a print time selection.
