Commander As Aservice #3300 Error
HI All,
I have been using commander as an application for a while and it was working very nice
I set the file and folder locations so that it starts at the place where i create lables
now i had to use the commander as a service because of the pc restarting and as application needs to be opened manually
when i used the as service functionality the labels are not printed although I changed the folders as i said before but error

Where are the BTW files located - somewhere in a user profile perhaps, or maybe a network folder? Are you specifying the path to where the BTW files are located? Maybe if you change the logon details for the Commander service to be that which you were using for Commander as an application all will work okay.

Hello:
I have been using Commander as a service for about a year now but as of yesterday, late morning it stopped working! I am able to print straight from Bartender and it prints when commander is changed to run as application. I do not believe anything would have changed from Friday to Tuesday (Holiday weekend) OR that the new year would have anything to do with it?
Could I be missing an update? Please advise as its not efficient to keep Commander running as an application, for us.
Thank you,
Stephanie

Stephanie: I guess you will need to modify the BarTender command handler setup so that the BarTender print engines are running under a specific user account that has the needed permissions. Note that you might already have this setup, yet the password recently changed for the user thus breaking the configuration.

Ok, looks like that is going to work. Our passwords did not change but I set up the commander handler to use the admin user/password and so far so good! Thank you!!
