Security Center Denies Access To Everything フォローする
I have managed to break Security Center. I had set it up to allow Administrators and members of a local group to do everything, and to allow ‘Everyone’ to do just a few things.
I then changed the name of the local group, and after that nothing works. I can disable security altogether, and then everything works fine – but without any of the restrictions I wanted to have. If I enable Security then I cannot open any of the Bartender programs - I always get a Permission denied message. And, yes, I use an account which has permission to do everything.
The renamed group may not be relevant. It is possible that the problem is caused by something else.
I have tried various things, such a renaming the local group back to its original name, and I have reinstalled the whole Bartender Suite. But uninstalling and reinstalling retained all settings. All to no avail.
Any idea what I can do to get Security Center to apply its permissions correctly again?
