Commander and PDF linked pictures
I posted this in the other forum but saw a message that that forum is going to go away, so I will post this here too.
So I have a template set up that uses a field in the CSV for a drop file to get get a PDF file name to print on the back of the page. The application finds with file fine in preview, and the commander used to find the files fine, but now when using commander to trigger printing, it will not find the PDF files.
This is what changed, and should be the only thing that changed in our system. A lot of the files that I wanted were TIF files, so I converted those TIF's to PDF so that more of the pictures that I wanted would show up. Now, when printing with the commander using a CSV drop file, none of the pictures will show.
Does anyone know of any limitations that we I may have run into by increasing the size of the folder with more prints? Or a conversion issue that would affect the commander run vs straight out of bartender?
Let me know what other information you need to understand the problem. We are on version 10.1 SR4 build 2961 if that helps at all.

Interesting. So I started having the problem with the update affecting the 2 records only printing. However, while that was going on, it would print the picture on the back. So I had my IT guy do the update (we have the commander running on a server virtual machine). After the update, I tried a test file. Still only 2 records, picture on back worked. I tried it twice more. The first time, same result, the second time, it printed all 4 records, but the PDF files did not print on the back. The only thing that I changed, was in the Commander, I changed the commander to not delete the CSV file, and to rename it as a .txt file (it's still deleting it, so I'll have to look at other settings for that.)
I'm going to try running commander as an application too to see if that changes anything, but it didn't before the update. I'll post if I find anything out. In the meantime, if anyone has anything else to try, let me know.

Update, it's not the commander. When I try to actually print out of Bartender, the pictures with not print, even though they show up in the print preview. I will print the border that I have set up so I know it's getting something for the second page, but it will not grab the PDF picture.

I would suggest looking at some of our troubleshooters for some of the common printing issues here. If you continue to experience issues, please contact our tech support so we can further look into the issue.
