Print to file graphics not downloading to printer フォローする

I am creating print to file (*prn) labels and then downloading to a CAB A4+ 300 DPI printer to store on a memory card for calling as required.

When the label is first downloaded and printing, the graphic will print perfectly. However when recalled at a later time to print it cannot find the graphic.

I know it has something to do with the cache or the like but can seem to find which box to tick in the printer properties dialog box.

Any help would be appreciated but I have been able to do this in the past. Issue seems to be that installed the printer on a new PC and the settings have changed somehow.

Hi Matt,

Been a long time since I had to do anything like this but it sounds like your are storing the format just in the RAM and not on the memory card and so after a while it is being "flushed" out. I believe you need to amend the PRN file to include the store to memory card commands (or you can maybe able to set this up automatically by using the Printer Code Template option).

I have a copy of the old CAB programming manual and it looks like the command you need at the start and end of the file is something like this

Ms LBL;<Name of your label> <Carriage Return>

.....then your label commands.....

Ms LBL

.....meant to add

The driver on the old PC may have been configured to add this information automatically via the Printer Driver and Document Properties>Page Setup>Advanced Options> User Commands Start of Label/End of Label fields.
