Specifying number of labels to print in Integration Builder

Can someone point  me in the right direction?  I'm trying to specify the quantity of labels to print from a database field.

I tried specifying the number of labels as a data field in the Designer, but when I print from an integration, I get the error message below.  I don't see a way to set the number of labels to print as a database field in the Integration Builder.

 

Print job 'packageLabel.btw' did not complete due to the following error: An error occurred during BTXML Script processing:

The number of copies is sourced by a Data Source.  The Print Dialog's Copies value must be a constant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi Dan,

  I believe you need two actions a "For Each Database Record" and a "Print Document" Action.

  In the for each database record action you want to set this up as the attached image.

  Then in your print document action you will be able to use the database field as a variable for the number of copies you require or serial numbers depending on which way you have it set up.

  I am using doing an integration using an integration file and a print command script. I want the number of label copies to be the same as the content of the field 'amount'. For example, if the 'amount' field is 5, then I will print 5 labels for that. How could I do that?

  I have responded to your other post about this (https://support.seagullscientific.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/26590733285015-Printing-Custom-Number-of-Labels) as in your instance you do not want to configure your settings as above but need to let the label format itself control the quantity by extracting this from the database field
