  Thank you for reaching us with your query via our Community Forums.
  
  Unfortunately, two different instances of BarTender can't run at the same time on the same machine. When you upgraded your version to BarTender 2022 R5, it was updated from BarTender 2019, leaving you with the upgraded version.
  
  If you want to downgrade to BarTender 2019, you can always do that as our software is backward compatible; and we would recommend creating a snapshot or security copy of your machine's big software updates in order to roll back to the saved instance. You can find our BarTender 2019 installation file listed here. In order to downgrade your BarTender version you will need to deactivate your license first, then remove your BarTender installation, and finally install the new version.
