You probably need to configure this to add the data

I fills up a field via drop down list from an external database, and scan data (with barcode scanner) to another one, and print the label succesfully, now I should move both data to external database at print time for traceability.
    Thaks for answer.

A more simple alternative is (depending on your version) enable Text File logging from the Administer>Log Setup or else log the data into the System Database and use History Explorer for your Traceability.

    Hello Peter,
    Thank you for reply.
That is working properly with Predefined global variables.
But how can I create variables to move out from the data what I select, and scan on the Data Entry form at print time (type selection and scanned barcode)??????

    Thank you in advance!!!!!

Make the fields on the label that the entered data populates Named fields and then in the Action you will be able to reference these directly via the Insert Variable button

You can set a name of a data source via the highlighted button below:

Once you have set a name these will then appear in the Insert Variables option. Please note the button greys out when the Insert Window is open but when you select the field to populate in the database and click in Value box the button will be selectable.

(Note: the screenshots are from a label and a database I knew had the configuration already set to show the screenshots and is not a fully working solution as it were)
