Command Not Recognized
I am running BT 10.2 SR1 on Windows 7, printing on a Tharo H427. I have a label which is pulling data from two separate data tables which are joined. I can preview the labels and all fields populate without an issue but when I try to print I receive a 'command is not recognized' on the printer (not the computer). I have managed to isolate the problem by removing each field and test printing. The field causing the problem seems to be the Nutritional Facts table. I am unsure how to isolate the problem further. I don't know if it's a design issue, a data issue, perhaps a font problem or driver?
Any assistance would be great.
Thanks

What type of BarTender object is the "Nutritional Facts table"? Is it a picture object or something? Give details.

The NFt is a text object with a box and added lines (I hope that answers the question correctly). I copied it from the template within BT then modified it for our needs. The BT template prints ok. I've since tried multiple fonts as well as removed the box around it - doesn't help.

At a guess, we're sending the object as graphic data and the firmware of the printer isn't liking the default graphics data encoding that the driver is using. To change this open the "Print" dialog from your label design and click the "Document Properties" button, and from the dialog that appears select the "Options" tab. Normally there is some kind of graphics encoding option available; through trial and error try a different method to see if it yields results.
As a matter of course, you might want to upgrade BarTender v10.1 to the latest service release: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/fixes_101.aspx

I changed the graphic settings as suggested and still cannot print the label. The bar code & ingredients print, it is only when I add a line or box that it freezes the printer. I've changed the graphic settings to the same as the blank BT nutrition template (which prints ok) but it still doesn't work.

From the Print dialog in BarTender, under the "Object Print Method" tab, try selecting different options (raster graphics and device lines) for the Lines and Boxes items to see if switching the rendering method of these objects bypass the issue.
By the way: Does the printer indicate what command is "not recognized"? Often printers will quote the actual command line it stumbles upon.
You also might want to speak with the printer manufacturer about updating the firmware of the printer. Perhaps it's a bit out of date...
