Named Database Connection: how to delete named database connections
Using:
BTDesigner 2016 R2; Enterprise; V11.0.2.3056(64Bit); OS: Win Server 2012 R2 x64; SQL Server 2014
Problem:
In BT Designer the 'Database Setup Wizard' does not show the named database connection for the local BT SystemDB.
Environment:
Other suite applications are connected th o the correct database; Administration Console has the correct DB connection.
Librarian has the correct DB Connection. It is only BT Database Connection Setup that does not show the correct DB connection.
Q. In the Database Setup Wizard can the 'Use an existing named database connection' list be flushed/refreshed?

First, I want to make a clarification here because it sounds like you are talking about two separate things.
The database connection setup under file->database connection setup in the BarTender designer is different than the BarTender System database. The database connection setup in the BarTender designer is used to read in data into the label design vs. the BarTender System database is for BarTender message and print job logging.
If you are looking to clear out the named database connections setup in the BarTender designer, then you can do the following:
- Navigate to the folder “c:\ProgramData\Seagull\Database Connections”
- Look for the desired Named Database Connection XML file.
- Delete it.
- Restart BarTender

I have also the need to delete named database connections. But I am missing the folder mentioned "database connections". Are you sure with the path?

Please forget my message, I found the xml-files. Sorry!
