Exporting BarTender Data to Excel

Greetings everyone!

I'm seeking guidance on data entry in BarTender and I wanted to know if my idea is feasible. My plan is that upon completing a form in BarTender, the information is automatically sent to an Excel file, filling in specific fields or columns.

The purpose of this is to maintain an accurate record of the material I'm using, to whom it has been issued, and which Work Order still has material pending delivery.

Does anyone have experience with this or can offer any advice? I appreciate in advance any help you can provide!

  There are some options in the Action commands to write data out to databases so you may want to check those out

  You could also look at using the in built logging features to log the data to a flat text file or to the System Database (SQL). For the latter you could then use the History Explorer companion application to view these details.
