 Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem in printing some labels from two different files!

my first file contains prices,Descriptions and all information regarding the products, and it is formed by 2617 records.

my second file contains "product position"  in my warehouse, and description of the products equal to the description of the articles of the first file, and this is the field that i use to join both files in database.

the problem is that, on second file i have 698 records, but in printing dialog it shows me only 558 records matching, I don't know why it doesn't match  the 100 reaming records!

I can't figure out why bartender is not showing me all matched descriptions with both files in record selections ?

It would be grate to have a support from you guys, as you all are very expert people!

Thanks

Hi Bilal,

If you just link the second table to a BarTender label and browse the records do all 698 still show up or only 558?

I have seen issues before where data is not appearing where you have a mix of numeric and alphanumeric characters but where all the numbers are near the top. No matter how you format the data in Excel the ODBC driver seems to only look at the 1st few records and decides it is a fully numeric column and so any alpha only or alphanumeric items just appear blank in the table. To get round this i would just add a new record at the top of the table with a value of "dummy" in all the fields so that the ODBC driver then sees the alpha characters

Pete.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply, I have 698 lines and when i select only 1 file it show me all 698 records, but, when i join both files it should gives me 698 records connections with the other file, but in record picker I see only 585 records, and i also noted that it shows me only 10 recods of  S1R positions, instead of 29 records!

I have tried to do what you said but seems not working!

I don't know why

Thanks for your reply again

Not sure, I take you have checked the data to make sure there is an exact match between the two fields you are comparing and there are no spurious (or none printable) characters in the fields?
